Operations Manager NEW

Job Requirements:

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations: Retail, Engineering, and Permit Department. Ensuring efficiency, and productivity and compliance with industry regulations. Manages a team of employees, coordinating with different department heads/managers in implementing strategies to optimize the distribution process. Maintains safety standards and manages operational risks that may arise.

• Previous 8 yrs above experience in a similar role is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Petroleum Engineer, Business Management or any related field
• Proficient in report preparations
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Knowledgeable in industry regulations and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to travel from time to time
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Knows how to drive

Job Description:

• Oversees the daily operations of the business to ensure smooth production and delivery of resources
• Develops and implements strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety on retail operations.
• Monitor the retail, engineering, and permit department operations and identifies areas for improvement, then implements changes to optimize resource outputs
• Review operational data and financial reports to ensure performance targets are being met.
• Collaborate with the Department Heads/Managers to discuss about the operations issues and develop contingency plan for resolution
• Communicates regularly with upper management to report on operational progress and address any concerns or challenges
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
• Manages and oversees performance evaluations of employees under operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, etc.
• Encourages a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, working to foster a positive team dynamic at all levels
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management Reporting
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports such as sales report, UGT variance, stations concerns and recommendation, operations cost, status of station’s renovation and constructions, performance evaluation feedback and status, etc.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across operations
• Monitor the implementation of operation recommendations and track progress to ensure corrective actions are effectively executed
