Vice President for Business Process Management

Job Description:

The Vice President for Business Process Management plays a critical leadership role in driving strategic, cross-functional collaboration across the Company. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and optimizing current and future business processes in alignment with the organization’s evolving system architecture, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

As a key contributor to enterprise-wide strategy, the VP will lead the design, analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement of integrated workflows that span multiple departments. The role ensures that robust, scalable, and streamlined processes are in place to support the successful execution of the Enterprise’s business objectives and long-term goals.

• Strategic Leadership and Transformation
  • Evaluates enterprise-wide business needs and proposes comprehensive process improvement strategies in collaboration with Business Unit Heads and the Executive Committee.
  • Fosters strong strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve sustainable business outcomes.
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives, innovation projects, and value-driven change interventions that support the enterprise’s long-term strategic goals.
  • Advises and educates executive leadership and the Board on emerging trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices in quality and process optimization

• Business Process Re-engineering (Review & Analysis) and Governance
  • Leads the assessment, design, documentation, and reengineering of business processes across functions to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and compliance.
  • Establishes and maintains governance frameworks for process ownership, process metrics, and quality assurance.
  • Facilitates risk identification, change impact analysis, and mitigation planning for all major process improvements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that both legacy and future processes are streamlined, standardized, and aligned with strategic objectives.

• Systems Development and Project Management
  • Oversees enterprise-wide process-related projects, ensuring proper execution, timeline adherence, and alignment with business goals.
  • Manages the full lifecycle of business process initiatives—from ideation and design to implementation, monitoring, and continuous refinement.
  • Leads digital transformation efforts by aligning technology solutions with optimized processes and user needs.
  • Establishes and maintains a centralized process repository and encourages knowledge sharing and process reuse.
  • Facilitates enterprise process mapping (“as-is” and “to-be”), gap analysis, and the integration of performance dashboards and analytics for real-time decision-making.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with vendors and consultants involved in business process automation and innovation

• Records, Reports and Data Management
  • Ensures the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of all records, reports, and process-related data needed for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Implements tools and platforms for process documentation, workflow tracking, and knowledge transfer across departments.

• People and Performance Management
  • Provides visionary leadership and functional direction to the Business Process Management team.
  • Sets clear departmental objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.
  • Conducts regular performance reviews, ensures timely feedback, and coaches team members to achieve optimal results.
  • Develops succession plans, career development pathways, and high-potential talent pipelines within the BPM function.
  • Promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the department.
  • Ensures effective organizational structure, staffing, and retention strategies to maintain team stability and productivity.

• Policy Formulation and Compliance
  • Oversees the development and enforcement of policies and SOPs related to process governance and quality assurance.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate standards through process compliance monitoring.

• Business Continuity and Risk Resilience
  • Embeds process continuity and contingency planning into core operations to mitigate disruptions and operational risks.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accountancy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred, especially with a focus on Business Process Management, Operations, or Strategy.
• Minimum 10 years+  relevant work experience; with at least 3 to 5 years of demonstrated leadership role in an executive capacity  leading a function in an organization
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB) preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP), or similar certifications are an advantage.
• Formal training in Business Process Management, Process Reengineering, Change Management, and Digital Transformation.
• Exposure to Agile, Lean, or Design Thinking methodologies is an advantage.
• Continuous participation in executive leadership development programs.
