Qualifications

• Graduate of IT, Computer Science or a related course
• With relevant experience in software programming
• Background in Digital Publishing, Pre-press BPO is an advantage
• With capacity to work from home AND work office-based (with own computer and internet connection)
• Minimum computer specs: Minimum i5 7-9th gen /8gb RAM / SSD

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze new and specialized projects.
• Develop and document specifications and user requirements.
• Encode, test, debug and documents programs for relatively complex projects.
• Follow up with end user to determine value of programs developed.
• Proactively maintain developed software when new tools or methods are available.
• Ensure that developed programs are being used properly by the users.
• Research new tools, systems and methods to improve productivity in the programming efforts.
• Maintain knowledge of client industry (publishing (traditional / digital), maps, etc.) to propose more effective solutions.
• Conduct training or orientation on developed software tools and improved processes.
• Document planned and accomplished tasks weekly.
• Document production issues and proposes process improvements.
• Troubleshoot problems and issues in production tools, processes, materials and people capabilities.
