Clinical Development Technician
Assists content developers in preparing PDFs for consultant review, compiling consultant feedback for consensus and data entry of finalized content into editing environments.
Provides QA and proofing of documents to ensure accuracy of final product deliverables.
Prepares clinical content for coding, coding of content, data entry of codes into editing environments, runs code reports from authoring tools, and provides QA of finalized coding deliverables.
Collaborates with clinical staff and ClinOps with consultant recruitment by contacting potential recruits, tracking responses, and sending reminders.
Assists in securing consultants for content review and validation.
Packet support sending/receiving, review/validation/recruitment materials, payment processing, issue resolution, credentialing.
Primary point of contact for the external clinical consultants (peer reviewers) and will manage all assignment and payment related issues.
Clinical SharePoint Support, maintenance of Journals/ subscriptions/contracts to include invoice management using OnBase and online access, Ordering and tracking of books, JIRA time reporting, supports administrative needs of clinical initiatives, including but not limited to case testing, searching and ordering articles for research.
Clinical Onboarding – system/application setup, training, schedule meetings and interviews for clinical department.
Provides data and analytical support to clinical staff.
Quarterly consultant spend reports, CCDB training, recruitment and other processes as needed.
Education/Training – Bachelor’s Degree, with preference in business or health-related studies; other relevant post-high school educational or training programs considered.
American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder’s (CPC) certification in good standing.
Minimum 2 years administrative experience required; minimum 1 year medical coding required.
Excellent organizational, communication, project management, and computer skills.
Ability to multi-task to complete simultaneous projects.
Strong attention to detail.
Computer skills required: Microsoft Word – Intermediate User, Microsoft Excel – Intermediate User, Jira – Intermediate User
